I think for me is when something feels overproduced. Like the engineered sounds don't sound pleasant or a voice is overly digitalized. And the biggest thing is when there's too much going on. Like too many voices, too many drums, it just loses meaning and there is no room for the music to breath.

Don't judge me but I use YouTube Music for this exact reason. There's so much music unavailable but usually it is on YouTube. With those songs not available it cannot be played as a song but it can be streamed as a video. The nice part about YouTube Music (premium) is you can chose to have just the audio play essentially making it stream the audio only.
