@jake.meredith_ I agree with Jon - we can't really avoid "doing the dance" at this point because so many folks are trained on algos, and the industry really relies on them (a little too heavily IMO). It won't feel like BS if the marketing is an extension of the art and music you're making. Make some kind of cool art or take some unique we've never seen before on these platforms and commit to that bit and be consistent, but then really utilize any kind of audience you're building to drive people either online to places like this (Discord and Reddit forums are your best bet for just starting out, livestreams like Twitch if you're keen on performingg) or drive them offline and figure out ways to interact IRL.
