@jsteven kid again version is final, that moment we got with the choir vibing was fire cuz it happened in that moment. The rest of the album has choir work at a much higher level than that jam so I figured kid again thrived in its reductiveness. You have to sometimes keep things raw and simple to provide perspective on album/catalogue, the choir in kid again didn’t make the cut compared to rest of album. That raw version is the final. Had to pick and choose when choir spiced was used in the meals. But I also wanted to post that clip cuz it’s tough hahahaha

@nattronboom no Tuamie on this record but Tuam one of my favorite producers in the world. Sample sensei for sure. We check in from time to time he sends me stuff he’s working on, he’s amazing.

@MusikByNiko mark Williams (ojiXvolta) was the guy behind that vocal sound wall for crop! The outro on the new record has a ridiculous vocal arrangement as the bed I’m going over. Don’t wanna give too much away. Real tears and shit though.

@tashhess this is FIRE I been saying we threw the baby out with the bath water in terms of strong fathers and stuff that our elders did that got us here. We have to improve but can’t set fire to the institutions. As I get older I see the importance of the nuance in that.
