I feel kinda bad for saying this and I get if you disagree but I feel like we're getting carried away with superfan stuff. Like some of the things I read would shock me if it was written about me, and that's kinda the standard I like to apply for everything.

Again I kinda feel like an asshole saying this and maybe Jon doesn't mind it anymore but he's been an artist that is pretty adamant against fans having para social relations with him.

TLDR: Let the artist be an artist and not your imaginary husband or bff.

This is gonna be a bit if a rant so bear with me.

When I first heard the GSP album I was blown away by every song, it all just clicked like it should've. But I had this feeling that I never understood what mah's joint was about. This beautiful track with the legendary Quincy Jones and I just didn't get it.

About 5 years later and I usually don't really listen to it anymore, it's on but it's background noise type of stuff which I always thought was kind of strange for my brain to filter it out like that since it's an amazing track.

Then in 2023 my own mom passes away very unexpectedly and I immediately knew that mah's joint was an off limits song. I had like a year of weekly therapy and after that year I thought "I can probably understand it better now."

Dude a whole year of therapy later and that shit still tears me apart. It's been another year and I just had the same experience last Saturday, it would've been her 50th birthday so it felt fitting. I'm still shook by what that song makes me feel.

One of my favorites is oddly enough the awkward long silence in an immigrant. I never really heard anyone talk about how fun it is to expect a drop and right when you think "tf is going on?" It drops and it goes so hard

This song really touches my soul. It tries to embrace me with memories but some of those memories still have thorns on them.

I remember when I first found out Jon produced a lot of songs from checking the credits on memories by maroon 5. After that it felt like all my favorite songs somehow had Jon Bellion in the credits, I once had a conversation with an avid Jason Derulo fan and told him I never really got into his music but loved trumpets and guess who I found in the credits.

This man is everywhere and it genuinely feels like he was there guiding me through the entire journey I took to discover my taste in music. Does anyone else share this experience or is it just me?

Man I had like 3 huge drafts that I decided not to send, this is such a difficult question to answer.

I think it definitely comes down to me not having enough to write about, since I would never dare to touch the chorus but thinking about frustrations in the theme of human is next to impossible.

The emotions conveyed in that song are really unique to a certain period in a lot of people's lives, but to me airing out those frustrations after the fact would be a disservice to the art

Let's be real, he hated touring and he has a family to be with so he's not gonna do a full europe tour, however if he did want to come I hope it'd be in the form of 1 or 2 big shows in strategic cities (like Berlin and Madrid) so people can travel to see him instead of him needing to go to 15 countries in 3 weeks.

Idk he's just talked about how much he hated touring and I imagine he'd hate being away from his kids even more. So with that in mind I'm hoping for maybe 1 weekend of having jon in europe

What are your guy's thoughts on this, are you hoping for a full blown world tour or is 1 show enough?
