@User12261990 I am DYING to know how/where you find all these nutty drum plugins/samples (other than ones you create from scratch since obviously those aren’t available). A lot of my projects either start with some random spark of melody inspiration OR fooling around on drums till something really nutty or magical comes together. Your drum sounds always blow me away so I’d love to hear your suggestions or how you source them (though I know obviously more work is probably done to them other than just using the plugin sound to kinda craft it more to what each song needs). Thanks!!

CALLING ALL ARTISTS/PRODUCERS@Isaac Thanks man!! Glad you enjoy it. Excited to build it more and really make something out of it, this is such a great fan base so I have high hopes that a lot of people will really be able to improve this way

CALLING ALL ARTISTS/PRODUCERSI made a subreddit a few days ago called r/BeautifulMindInspired for artists and producers who enjoy music put out by Jon and BM to share their music, receive & provide critique, and potentially even build an audience if something sticks. I think this would be a great way to collect like-minded people with similar tastes to help bring each other to new heights in an honest, uplifting, and semi-collaborative environment. It'll be a fun way to get feedback from people with similar taste while also providing you with a way to spread your music in a non-TikTok/short form video format. Obviously to get a consistent audience stuff like that might still be necessary, this is just another outlet for people to start small and really build a COMMUNITY around their brand and others' brands. While the forum is centered around people who enjoy music put out by Jon and BM, the focus would be on music created by YOU and the COMMUNITY. This idea only works if you are willing to open yourself up to honest (but kind) criticism and are also willing to provide critique for others. That being said, ALL ARE WELCOME to join and listen to the work created by fans inspired by Jon. Even if you are not necessarily planning to post or share your music, your critique/input is still very much appreciated and encouraged if it will help someone improve. So, if you are interested in joining a community of producers and artists who want to bring each other to new heights through honest critique and praise, we hope to see you there!!

BM Fan Art/EditI turned the BM logo into word art to say Jon Bellion and Beautiful Mind Inspired. Took me a couple hours, but I’m pretty proud of it. I originally made it to be the icon of a subreddit I created called r/BeautifulMindInspired to bring producers with a love for Jon and BM together to spread their music and get and give critique, but I wanted to share the art in here too since I was pretty proud of the edit. A lot of it was using the eraser tool, selectively choosing what to keep and add until it formed readable words, and adding a few features to make the words more readable. What do y’all think?

Any Musicians here?!Jon has been a HUGE influence on my music. Obviously don't wanna crowd this forum with promo, but I did make a subreddit I'm trying to build for producer/artist fans of Jon and BM to spread their music, constructively critique the music of others, and potentially also build their own audiences. Its called r/BeautifulMindInspired if you are interested. It's small now as I only made it 2 days ago, but I have faith it'll grow relatively quickly given how large Jon's producer/artist fanbase is. The whole point is to just help people spread their music with people of similar tastes, so if thats something any of you would be interested in, we'd love to see you there!! All music styles are welcome, its just BM centered in order to get people who have somewhat similar taste. I'd love to hear what y'all have done musically!!

Jon Bellion & Jacob Collier Collab!?? PLEASEI been saying this for years T_T my biggest two inspirations by far

What Is Your Favorite Jon Bellion Song?@BeautifulMind Difficult question cause while I probably listen to Woke the F*ck Up, Crop Circles, and Run Wild the most, Conversations with my Wife would have to be my favorite. It’s not consistently on my playlist, and it’s not the one I listen to the most my a long shot, but it’s definitely a comfort song for me. It’s a testament to how family and personal relationship is infinitely more important than achievements and public appearance/reputation, which resonates a lot with my core values when it comes to hypothetically envisioning a successful career in music and the sacrifices that come with that. Even if it is not the song I listen to the most (though it’s definitely high up there in listens, it’s catchy af), it’s definitely still my favorite just because of the meaning and beautiful lyricism. I ESPECIALLY love the Cove City rendition. I had that (and the whole concert) on repeat while piecing together IKEA furniture for my apartment back during my undergrad

WOOOHOOOO@danpurcell Yeah, honestly that being the case I’m just choosing to look forward to it and being able to be creative with the video and storyboarding process as well as the music behind it instead of dread the current state of advertising. Just gotta learn to walk that tight rope of being myself while also selling myself/my brand. I think before I was leaning too into the idea of selling myself instead of choosing to have fun with what I was making and showing my authentic side. The creativity and eye catching-ness was there, but not so much the authenticity which I think was what made it so soul sucking in the moment (though still a fun process). Now that it’s kinda been affirmed that to some extent that’s the current state of advertising and audience building, I’m definitely looking forward to see how I can get heads turning and break boundaries in both the music AND short form video side of things lol. Once I complete the album I’m working on I have a bunch of acapella arrangements I made from the Human Condition that I’d love to compile and film video for Jacob Collier style, so I think that’ll be pretty neat too. Looking forward to this next chapter, just gotta build my resume per se by making connections and finishing my current album. Also working to build a small audience to start and gradually grow over time through forums (like you mentioned, Discord, Reddit, etc) instead of only throwing stuff out there onto major media. If I’m playing the game Imma be strategic abt it

WOOOHOOOO@User12261990 Thank you! In a sense I saw that answer coming, but I still needed to hear it. Seeing the quiet part (sometimes gotta do the BS to get past the BS) actually get said out loud by the person on the scene who I respect and look up to the most provides a lot of validation for me for justifying making some eye catching video while in the early stages of building an audience (not that goal is fame, but can’t make a living off no credentials/audience either). I appreciate you saying to navigate doing it my own way as well, helped me to recognize that while some decisions are better than others, there’s no “right” way per se. I actually just made a subreddit called r/BeautifulMindInspired that I’m hoping to grow so people who enjoy music from you and BM can promote and critique each other so we can all grow together and also maybe polish a few diamonds in the rough. Your faith is inspiring to me, and I’m excited to move forward with my music my own way and just see where God takes me. He gave me this gift, so imma work my ass off to offer it up and give the glory back to Him.

WOOOHOOOOWhat do you think is the best way to get music into the open without succumbing to these BS Tiktok and insta ads? I did a few at first for my last 2 records, but it just all feels so disgusting and desperate. I love what you are doing here, but unfortunately I don't have that kind of following since I'm still very new on the scene, so I feel kinda lost when it comes to advertising.

COME ON IN YA FILTHY ANIMALSSo incredibly hype

This is BM social mediaDiscovering you was a life changing experience for me. When I first started writing it was with the goal of getting attention from others as opposed to loving my craft, which put a huge damper on my creativity and enjoyment. I was also selfishly focused on trying to do things myself and gain fame rather than trusting God to put wind under my wings and let me fly the direction He wanted to take me. Discovering you changed all of that. I heard the Human Condition first (which sent me spiraling through your whole discography and other songs you produced for other people years ago) and now 5 years later I'm 23 and couldn't be happier with how I produce and write. Christ lead me to your music because it showed me that faithful people can succeed in this industry. Your interview/podcast with George Janko brought tears to my eyes because seeing you wear your faith on your sleeve proved to me that God put me on to your music for a reason. Thank you for being an amazing role model for me. I might be an engineering student and not a music major, but I am far from down and out when it comes to using the talents God has given me and you reminded me of. I am free.
P.S. These ain't fightin' words but I'm pretty competitive, so I can't wait for you to do more so that I too can soar higher than before.

I ‘ve got some fan art to shareThat's dope af

What do you want to dive in onIts a huge ask, but I'd love to see just a full on display/breakdown of one of your more technical songs similar to how Jacob Collier does his Logic Breakdown sessions. I love picking apart songs to gain a better understanding of what underlying instrumentation makes stuff pop, but also I know I'm definitely bound to miss SOMETHING (like an ambient pad or texture SFX) with how much cool stuff is going on in your music at once (like Woke the F*ck Up or Kid Again).
