@Levántate Mine used to be Human, then over time turned to Woodstock
@KrazyBlizzard in the UK it’s not on any streaming services. Hope it comes out one day.

There’s so many to choose from and they’re all amazingggggg. If I had to choose, I suppose “ungrateful eyes”, simply because I love watching the creative process video of it on YouTube. But honestly I love them all with such an unhealthy intensity.
I spoke with Yahweh, he told me Jesus crafted us in
Which means my brother's my brother, it don't matter the skin
America needs to watch how they treat His chosen people
But that's for deeper than surface records, now let's begin -
You can only pick ONE. What is it and why?
@BeautifulMind Here's what I'll say. Your songs are incredible, but I don't think I've ever seen an artist make such amazing acoustic versions of their songs. You always make it feel like almost a completely different song with so much effort and thought put into it whereas other artists just play the exact same song but a little more chill. Your acoustic version of stupid deep might be one of the most beautiful acoustic versions of a song to ever be created. I can't wait to see the acoustic versions of some of the songs in the new album!

Oh man. Such a tough question. Such a great thought provoker. For me, it’s gotta be Luxury. The closer from The Definition. After all the watching and rewatching over and over of the making of Luxury listening to the craft and artistry from Jon. Hearing him create these beautiful harmonies and the way the beat really slows the song down. It really makes it feel like time slows and I could sit there and listen to the beat, strings and harmonies all day. And the most amazing cherry on top being Audra Mae’s feature at the end of the record. The most climactic and heartfelt close to an album. “Please don’t let my soul drown in Luxury.” I don’t think I’ll ever hear anything better

Luxury takes the cake, fell in love with that track when I was homeless a bunch of years ago. Can definitely say it got me through that dark time period in my life, and I wouldn't be here without it!

@BeautifulMind Has to be adult swim for me. Just ridiculous bars and the beat switches, the voice acting, how clean the drums are. I can't get enough. Lyrically just another level imo. Also just generally more of a rap/hip-hop fan anyway so i feel like this pick makes sense given that
All the sins of my past will my son have to reap. Oh, the tangled web I weave.

STUPID DEEP.
This songs spoke about everything i was going out when it was released. It reminded me that for a person to put it into sing, he must have experienced it so I wasn’t alone. Practically brought me back from the edge -
You can only pick ONE. What is it and why?
@BeautifulMind Difficult question cause while I probably listen to Woke the F*ck Up, Crop Circles, and Run Wild the most, Conversations with my Wife would have to be my favorite. It’s not consistently on my playlist, and it’s not the one I listen to the most my a long shot, but it’s definitely a comfort song for me. It’s a testament to how family and personal relationship is infinitely more important than achievements and public appearance/reputation, which resonates a lot with my core values when it comes to hypothetically envisioning a successful career in music and the sacrifices that come with that. Even if it is not the song I listen to the most (though it’s definitely high up there in listens, it’s catchy af), it’s definitely still my favorite just because of the meaning and beautiful lyricism. I ESPECIALLY love the Cove City rendition. I had that (and the whole concert) on repeat while piecing together IKEA furniture for my apartment back during my undergrad

@BeautifulMind Such a difficult choice to make. But as I speak, I will have to lean towards Stupid Deep. I realized at a point in life that we do overthink things sometimes, and miss the obvious answers right under our noses. I need not even talk about the acoustic version. It’s just such a beautiful song that says so much.

@BeautifulMind paper planes. it was the first jon song i ever heard and boy did it change my life. the entirety of translations through speakers actually saved my life, but paper planes always stuck out as my favorite. i am chronically ill and this ep came out while i was in the thick of treatments/diagnosis. the good old anxiety and depression combo that came along with the entire process felt world ending, and jon's music was the only thing keeping me afloat. when i listen to that ep now, its a reminder of the massive obstacles i had to overcome as a young woman and im able to look back that time of my life with a smile. i grew up with jon and paper planes right by my side guiding me through the ups and downs and i wouldn't want it any other way!!!
i keep my eyes to the sky ☆

@BeautifulMind I think it has to be Hand of God (Outro). Such amazing vocals and all of the reprises are just electric.
Fuck it. Wake up!
