I think GSP is genuinely a contender for greatest album of all time. Just the sonic versatility alone is ridiculous. How do you chuck in so many influences and come away with something that sounds new and refreshing. Half the songs don't even feel connected to each other lyrically or thematically and yet as an album it still feels complete. The album is a journey to me, each song a crafted reflection of emotion and sensation; Blu how Jon feels when he looks at his wife, Mah's Joint his pain over his grandmother, cautionary tales his frustration with his fame and recognition. My personal highlight is Adult Swim, just some ridiculous bars, crazy ass beat switches, true artistry at work. Tuamie supplied a face lift iykyk
