She said "How does it feel to be you?"
I said "It's alright. I really think I peaked in high school."
She said "That is impossible, you are out of your mind! 'Cause we never hooked up in high school"- 80s Films

Jon has some fire lines in his songs! His lyric skills are pretty much unmatched. In your opinion, what is his BEST line?
It's kinda long but mine would be from Mahs Joint when he says:
"Conversations with the Devil and he's telling me
What's the point in making memories
When you can't even find 'em when you're 70?
Conversations with my Father and he's telling me
There's a point in making memories
'Cause they'll be even better when we're heavenly@Jefferson-M "They'll try to sell you short because their dreams are for sale" adult swim
"Never wake up from your dreams" For the dreamers.
"I'd rather build an oasis sober and thrive at forty" lets begin.
"we're spelling suicide but not by choice" weight of the world.beautiful mind

"will gone hunting, mutha....., where you Ben afflac, we just seeing if you ducks can dance..." this line went way over my head when I first heard it
witness protection
"this is a official apology from beautiful mind, we're sorry, if we're going ohveryorhed..."

I think about this line sometimes, “If you dove into the tears of my eyes, you hear this instrumental. Jesus was instrumental, in blessing my mental. Every time I drove a car could’ve twisted the metal.” This line just made me think and listen deeper to his music.
I also loved, “too many coincidences and instances of gods hand, it’s insane.” The lyricism in this line has me fired up.
So much more… love this guy.

I also love "Maybe I don't know, but maybe that's OK" I feel like this helped my faith a bunch - realising I don't need to know all the answers
I'm tryna live, I'm tryna rise, Above the shit, the devil tries, Which is why I keep my eyes to the sky ✨

@Flaffy That whole song is full of lines that make you do a double take cause they're so deep.
@Jefferson-M The lyricism in Adult Swim goes under most people's radars. People seriously need to go to Genius Lyrics and look at the analysis of that song. Then realize that they're still missing some of it.

he's got so many in New York Soul Pt. ii that i think about a lot;
"This money gon' leave you empty if you just want that
See, my joy lies in the Son and you should jump on that""Let me give the kids just a little help
Tell 'em money is not the key to wealth
'Cause if it can stop the pain
How the fuck do you explain a bunch of millionaires that killed themselves?""I need a family that loves me right
Don't need a chain, don't need a club at night
I had a conversation with an angel
She told me I'd cheat death if I stayed away from the party life""Dropped off in the land where the artists play
Where God's way is the hardest way
Told myself I'm keeping my faith
If it costs me my reputation, then take it, I give it all away"“I figured out there’s money in my mind.”

JB Enjoyer since 2017
Cause I had a fire, passion and desire
Now all I require are circuits and wires
Inside was an ocean of soul and emotion
Then you cut me open... -

@GabbyW0205 yes so true. Just watched the new Avicii documentary, and it really made me think about the price of fame, and what true success really is. One lyric I think about a lot is from an artist called Loyle Carner - "when I was younger, I wanted to be famous. Now that I'm older, I wish that I was nameless."
