@catkeleghan a couple LayedBak reactions back in Covid were some of the first I watched of Jon’s music as I got into it! All three people mentioned in this thread are favs of mine for Jon reactions

I have one friend who I got into Jon’s music with, otherwise not really. Every time I mention him people either only know All Time Low or nothing of his at all. That’s why the forum is fun though!

I unfortunately didn’t discover and really get into Jon’s Music until COVID (though I’m glad I had it to help get through the pandemic!) as a result i haven’t been here for an album release/tour since I got into Jon’s catalogue!
I’ve loved the three singles we got plus appreciated all his other music he helped co-write/produce for Bieber, Jonas Bros, Tori, etc. But a new album I’m here for the release of is exciting!
Plus the prospect of seeing Jon live! I bought and watched Cove City live but nothing like being in person. I’ve read so many stories on the forum already and Can’t wait to potentially experience it for myself!

@LIFE went huge with it back when it first came out, now I really only play the actual game when there’s an exciting drop. Have always loved the world and lore tho

@emrams same here, went to school at UC-CCM! I would travel back if Jon toured there in a heartbeat

All Time Low on the radio was the first, but the song that caused me to remember All Time Low years later and check out Human Condition and continue diving his catalogue was Good Things Fall Apart with ILLENIUM

I always enjoyed the vibe of Make Love, specifically love the bass line during the rap verse. Want To Be Loved is right up there too

Console I’m currently starting what seems to be a yearly Destiny 2 phase (usually comes up with Hive/Dread-related lore)! Also been playing a good amount of Kingdom Rush tower defense lately, solid solid games

Early on in COVID, I was searching for some new music and stumbled upon his collab with ILLENIUM, loved it. Realized it was the guy that made that “All Time Low” song I had enjoyed on the radio a few years prior, and went on a deep dive. I think I really resonated with the Making Of videos, so so cool to see the process behind it all and Jon’s passion for it shining right on through

Twenty One Pilots for sure in recent years. As a result, Paul Meany as well. Love NF. I’ve liked hearing stuff from Connor Price in the past year, sticking independent from labels. Also really enjoy The Weeknd, his new album is also straight

What’s your advice for reigniting a music/creative spark if you hit a rut? I went to school for classical music so it’s a little different but I was burning out towards the end doing all the same things and always just striving for the perfect take/run of an excerpt for an audition. Tips on just tuning out the perfectionist and just playing the music and letting it flow and speak so you enjoy the performance again?

Heard All Time Low on the radio of course, but believe it or not the first song I actually heard and was paying great attention to was his collab with ILLENIUM. Loved that song and from that point jumped in with Human Condition, worked backwards and finished with GSP. Weird ordering but have loved every song I’ve heard!
