Basketball and Soccer -
Basketball and SoccerI'm not sure if someone has brought these topics up but while we're waiting what are everyone's favorite teams?
I follow basketball and soccer, got home a little bit ago from watching the Spurs lose to the Kings. Also excited to watch the Barcelona game tomorrow and their Champions League game against Benfica next week.

The one dinosaur in the first Jurassic Park movie that spit in the face of the guy that tried to steal the vile of DNA.
-
The movie should just be a compilation of all his making off videos.

What you guys do for a living?@italian-stallion Electrical Engineering, work designing routing for electrical wiring using 3D design (AutoCad). In highschool I use to work as mechanic and we also use to bump Jon's music on the shops speakers lol

First memory of listening to JB@jennifernide that's a great way to set scene
. I remember hearing bits and pieces of his music when I was like 15 through other artists and in YouTube videos. Idk when exactly I really dove in but the first song of his I have saved on Spotify is Carry Your Throne but I remember listening to his older music (The Separation and Translation Through Speakers) on YouTube for a while before actually adding any of his music on Spotify

What keeps people from following their dreams?@trimusic77 I managed to achieve the career I wanted but my biggest obstacle throughout the whole thing was self doubt. I was lucky enough to have supportive friends during the difficult classes and long nights at the library but sometimes it's your own doubts that hurt your dreams

Jon Bellion Essay Follow-upI thought your description of the songs for the paper were pretty good. Personally I think if you included his line of "When my mother was a mother to her mom". That one line in itself is a very heavy one, when I first heard it I remember pausing and being like woah

Let’s Begin Physics Problem?I'm no physicist but the speed of darkness would be the exact same as the speed of light. With ideal assumptions let's say you had a room with a light and a switch, when it's on the light fills the room at a rate of about 300,000,000 m/s and turning it off would then mean that the light doesn't fill the room and darkness would fill that void and because there isn't something between the light and the darkness that means it would have to fill it up as quickly as it went away. Essentially meaning the darkness has to travel at 300,000,000 m/s to catch up to the disappearing light.

Favorite part of Jon’s musicFor me it's the lyrics, especially from the definition and the human condition. I'm not sure if it's cause those two albums were more generalized but all the songs felt very relatable. As a 24 year old living at home lol He is The Same and Morning in America especially now feel very relevant

Where my FaZe peeps @@Zeonder my go to's were adapt and censor mostly because of the games they played for money, I forgot what the website was called but they used it alot for their qualifying and prize money, what's weird for me is I never liked call of duty like that. If anything just zombies but I was more of a fan of Fifa and smaller indie games.
44 bars was a good one but after the Incredible true story and under pressure albums I stopped, logic didn't grow as much and the substance wasn't there like it use to be on the Young Sintra mixtapes. But that whole Visionary group was really good can't take that away
-
Where my FaZe peeps @@Zeonder I first heard Jon on welcome to forever by Logic in middle school and then later on when the lions come when I was listening to old logic mixtapes but it wasn't until I started watching Faze Adapt that they talked about Jon once and decided to listen to his actual music. A couple years after that I slowed down on logic and stopped watching Faze but still listen to Jon all the time and get excited for those new releases

More foreign artists collabs?@LIFE she is a good shout, I heard her on a song with Becky G. You're right tho I have no clue how the LATAM collabs would work just something I'd like to see
-
More foreign artists collabs?@GabbyW0205 yeah I remember seeing that for the first time, I had listened to Stormzy before and seeing the remix felt so random
-
More foreign artists collabs? What are everyone's thoughts on Jon having more collabs with foreign artists? It seems like there are a lot of LATAM, UK and some Nigerian fans in the forum. His song with Burna Boy and the All Time Low remix with Stormy were both unexpected to me at least and seeing Jon put his own creativity into sounds from different countries would go hard.
Personally I listen to a lot of Spanish music and seeing a song with Jon and Danny Ocean or Elena Rose would be top of my most hoped for features.
Thoughts?
