Funnily enough Jon isn't a celebrity crush for me and it was annoying justifying myself to my family cause I was obsessed with him when I was younger (the obsession still bubbles under the surface). They'd joke that I wanted to marry him which very much not lmfao. I love him in an admiration / relating to his journey and his passion kind of way.

Only bringing this up cause he worked with the Jonas Brothers, but if I have celebrity crushes Nick Jonas is on that list. 🫣

I found them both separately actually! I started listening to Eden around march 2016 or so through XO, and Jon around August that same year with All Time Low. When I later found Eden's cover of Simple and Sweet I was over the moon 🥹

Had to relate some song themes to a book and personal experiences. Tbh I could still write whole essays ab Jon's music just for fun

Honestly when GSP released I mourned cause of the lyrics in Conversations With My Wife. The lyrics in Cautionary Tales as well, though I didn't entirely grasp just to what extent it went at the time. I kind of knew in that moment we weren't going to get new music for a long time and came to accept maybe never again even and I was alright with that if that's what it took for Jon to live his best life.

So I'm beyond grateful we're getting an album now lmaoooo

First I wanna say thank you so much for your music it has had such an impact on my life as a young adult !!! Kid Again resonated with me so much as an animator who grew very disillusioned with the animation industry these past few years. I'm pivoting to something else in the hopes I can rediscover my love for art and Kid Again gives me that hope.

Also thank you for creating this space, I've grown so tired of social media these past few years. This is a breath of fresh air in contrast! Lol
