Hello!

My name is Michael, and I'm from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. I've been a fan of Jon's since The Separation/2014 but became hooked when the Definition released.

I was fortunate enough to see Jon in 2019 when he came to Melbourne, my brother and I got front row spots and it was honestly one of the best nights of my life.

This new music feels different, in a good way. Each song and snippet has so much weight attached to it, the overwhelming weight of being a father and the responsibility that comes with it. I feel like I shouldn't be listening, but I cant help but keep replaying what I hear.

As someone without kids I feel I wont fully understand the new album until I begin a family of my own. In a way I feel like this album is both a warning and an expression of gratitude for being a father has in store.

I'm so grateful for this evolution, I can't wait to see what Father Figure has in store and how it might shape my perspective now and in the future.
