Lyric explanation!!! I've always wondered if Woke the F up was an allusion to your "coming to faith" in Christ. It seems to be a creative way to demonstrate being woken up and needing the Lord.
Also, I really want to know if you are alluding to the Trinity in KID AGAIN hahaha. It seems like some obvious John 3 referencing. Sun = Son, Wind = Spirit, and God = Father. Would love to hear if you intended that haha!
My favorite thing about Jon and his music has always been his love for Christ and his witness for Christ in his music. Songs like, weight of the world, maybe idk, hand of God, stupid deep, and now kid again, have encouraged my faith since high school.
Jon, seeing how faithful the Lord has been to keep you in His hand and, if I may, not "let your soul drown in luxury", has edified me deeply. When you hit us all with the "I feel the Yah back in my soul," I had such gratefulness for God's goodness. And to see how He has guided you faithfully this far and provided you with a beautiful family is truly wonderful. Christ will hold you fast.
Your call to answer has always been Him. Keep being a light for your Father in this dark industry and thank you for being an encouragement in my walk with Christ and for so many others!!! Continuing to pray for you, brother! HYPED for the album and your return!
I would love to see Jon collab with KB!!! Been waiting for this for a while and I really believe KB is on this album. Jon always wear's His Glory Alone merch and even had KB's company design his Grammy jacket. That collab would be HEAT.
