I started listening to Jon's music in 2016-2017ish with The Human Condition, but by the time Glory Sound Prep dropped, I had shifted from casual listener to avid fan.
I distinctly remember the electric joy of waiting up for the album drop, and standing in my kitchen with my refurbished bose headphones on (which I'd saved up to afford so I could enjoy the little musical details). It was almost an out of body experience, just swaying to the melodies and noticing all the delightful little sonic details in each song. I've never considered myself a music expert, but that album taught me what mastery of a craft sounded like. You don't just listen to songs like that - you feel them through your whole body. They light up your mind.
