I made those signs!! Over 1500 unique handmade "thank you" signs. I got to the venue at 4 am to make sure I could hand them out to everyone. Jon's music means so much to me, and getting to create a small project to show him that meant the world.

His instagram story post after the show read: "Portland. Words will never do justice to how that show felt for me. Thank you."

I don't know if anyone else has suggested this yet, but I think it would be so sick if Jon dropped a boxed vinyl collection with his full discography, similar to the 2017 Growth set. It's so hard to find his records anywhere (for an affordable price), and I would froth at the mouth to have the full collection.
He could even do it as a limited run with colored vinyls, art prints, or something else that would make the records more "special" for folks who may already have some or all of them.

22 here. Been a fan since middle school, and now I've finished two degrees. It's wild how much Jon's music has shaped me over the years.

"What if where I tried to go was always here?" really resonates right now. I've fought my whole life to be where I am today, and it feels like I can finally breathe for the first time.

Stupid Deep is so special to me, especially the acoustic version.

However, Mah's Joint brings me to tears every single time I hear it.
I lost my mom in 2021 after a very long and difficult battle with a rare form of cancer, and that song perfectly captures the duality of emotions that I experienced, and still experience. The deep grief and sadness of having to continue living without your loved one, mixed with the relief that they are no longer in pain and that they are being welcomed with a party on the other side. Mourning the future that you will never get to share with them, while being comforted the memories you did make together. The sad "mama, mama" echoing in the background underneath the joyful cheers of a welcome party on the other side... It just hits deep in my soul.

Just wondering if anyone happens to have any photos or videos of Stupid Deep at the Portland, Oregon date of the GSP tour?
I spent months hand making well over 1500 unique signs that all said "THANK YOU" on them, got to the venue at 4 AM, and spent all day handing them out. It was so magical to see those signs all go up during Stupid Deep, and to witness Jon's reaction from the front row.
Sadly, because I was at the barricade, I never got to see past the first few people behind me to get a good look at all of the signs. I've always wondered what it looked like.

That show changed my life. I have the VIP lanyard art (inspired by Stupid Deep) tattooed on my shoulder, and it's still one of my favorite tattoos all these years later,

I'm personally reform Jewish (G-d is more of a vague concept of the highest good than a big man in the sky to me), but I love when people write about what's important to them. Jon writes from his heart, so of course his most closely held beliefs are going to make it into his music. And I find that beautiful.
