Sharing my music here bc I would die if Jon heard it@Zeonder exactly, I’ve found lately I’m asking myself how I can find fulfillment in music again. I’ve found working full time teaching guitar and making room for music is hard (though im so grateful for my job- it’s just hard to not see music as ONLY work). Been telling myself I need to stop putting pressure on making something commercially successful. I have to remember to connect to my faith and get in tune with the true reason why we love music- because it makes us feel something and is one of the purest forms of catharsis out there

Sharing my music here bc I would die if Jon heard it@Isaac oh we are OBSESSED with them. And that’s our drummer Ian, honestly I’ll send him a voice note tapping out rhythms and he turns the vision into a reality. Love the guy so much.

I produced it and played all instruments besides drums and most the guitars in stupid (I recorded the end solo). It was mixed by two friends of ours! Biggest inspirations are Jon, Dominic Fike, Peter McPoland, and Claire Rosinkranz currently. But we’ve been tapping into a more indie-folk/rock sound as of late which was a huge inspiration for RWYA. So glad you like it, we were actually had a grant deadline so we had to put it out quick, I wanna expand it into an album and dive more into the production/ mix on those songs too.

Working on this record….You’re an enormous inspiration for my sister and I creatively. Cannot wait to get some fresh Jon music to further widen the musical palette- been needing something fresh for a long time

My sister and I are 23 and 25, fund the music all ourselves. We got to write with Jesse Blum from Twenty One Pilots, Marc Campbell of Misterwives and J Glaze and this is the result
Jon has always been a huge inspiration and we would dieeeee if he listened to what we create. Hope this can get to him

Anyone wanna give their opinion on my new song?@Flakes then I’ll make a point to record an acoustic version ! I’ll send it over when it’s out
Funny enough, the guitar is a Taylor Swift model of a baby Taylor that my brother bought me 15 years ago. It’s based off of the design she drew in sharpie on her baby Taylor when she was a kid. Super easy guitar to play

Anyone wanna give their opinion on my new song? -
Anyone wanna give their opinion on my new song?We wrote this with Jesse Blum from Twenty One Pilots, along with Marc Campbell from Misterwives and J Glaze! Mainly posting this because Jon is such a major inspiration for us and out of every artist out there- Jon is the top person we would write with. He is not only insanely creative, but he makes the writing, producing and recording process look so insanely fun!!
Saleen and I wrote majority of the lyrics/ melody (Marc had a heavy hand in the chorus lyrics). Guitars are Marc, produced by J Glaze and mixed by our friend Brian Gosling. Jesse recorded all the synths, drums were our drummer Ian Fragomeni, and J Glaze also rearranged the chorus for that super strong melodic structure. ![alt text]
Hope this can someone get to him and we could at least get some feedback from him
