I don't know if anyone's properly done it yet, but I gotta give @jbellionnation their flowers. If it hadn't been for them, I wouldn't even be on this site, or know anything about Jon's return. So shout out to the nation for keeping me, and probably a bunch of other people, up to date for all these years. It's a hell of a job, and you do it well JBN so thanks!

I can't tell you how many times I have watched the Clover City Concert, and I've gotta say Jon's improvisation is A1. I don't like the idea of going to concerts, large crowds freak me out, but I REALLY wanna see more things like Clover City where Jon is just jamming. So I'm curious @User12261990, would you ever do another virtual concert, or a live break down of your music and process?

What if Kid Again was always ment to be deleted…What if his whole album is about the death and resurrection of his career? What if Kid Again is the party that celebrates the six years but the album is about the six years? What if the whole album is just Jon asking “Who The Fuck Am I?” And the answer is a Kid Again.

Because I love a good theory, there’s mine. I think if you listen to the album in order it’s just gonna be Jon asking “Who am I, and what is this?” And as the album progresses Jon’s collecting all these new roles in his life, (husband, label owner, father, etc.) and the whole time Jon’s trying to figure out where his own music fits in the ever changing landscape of both his personal and professional life. And the album comes to a conclusion with the answer being “a Kid Again”. Thoughts????

@enzomayworm I know that Jon doing his thing and all but this kinda reminds me that we don’t really own anything anymore. From a consumer standpoint that’s kinda scary if you think about it.

I whole heartedly agree. I think that living in a society where your job (even a regular 9-5’s) is so closely related to some people’s identities it gets easy to look at them as simply their title. Couple that with 24/7 media coverage and now social media, and it’s really easy to idolize people. But the you remember how many roles a single person plays in the lives of others (parent, sibling, etc) and you’ll quickly realize you don’t even know a faction of the people your idolizing.
