For me, seeing the break down of the beat from Munny Right lead to me having a whole high school arc where I got into music production. Something about hearing the song being isolated down to its pieces and hearing how they fit together was so interesting to me that I wanted to replicate it.

What is your favorite Behind the Scenes video moment?

Too many coincidences and instances of God’s hand it’s insane

Even when I was an atheist, I couldn’t shake how experiencing coincidences made life feel so clearly guided by something greater and that denying it felt like ignoring the obvious.

I do not remember where I read this, but supposedly the 1 2 3 1 2 3 at the beginning was for this exact reason

I remember when Liar (produced by Jon) came out in 2019, I remember the horn arrangement at the beginning reminded me a little bit of the Gerudo Valley theme from Ocarina of Time. AND I know for a fact that around that time Jon was re-playing Ocarina, as there was a screenshot of him at Zora’s Domain on his Instagram story. This has lead me to my long running theory that the horn arrangement in Liar was inspired by Gerudo Valley.

I understand that this is maybe not something that an artist can flat out confirm these days due to constant lawsuits and all, but I would love to know if it was Jon himself that wrote this horn arrangement.
