Regular baseball style doesn’t fit my head very well, I don’t know about anyone else.

It might be silly, but I first heard Jon in a YouTube video by one of my favorite people, Jenna Marbles. It was a cute little video with her boyfriend at the time, now husband. I loved the whole thing, since it was so cute and wholesome. Years later, I reconnected with an old boyfriend from high school, one of those “one that got away” type situations. We were simply hanging out one night, playing cards, and he put on some music he wanted to show me. Eventually as the playlist went on, Guillotine started playing, and I absolutely lost it, I was so giddy. It was the song from the video. Ever since then, we’ve been listening to Jon on every road trip, and on the regular as well, but there’s a whole playlist for roadtrips. I even somehow managed to be in the top 0.01% of listeners two months in a row (on Google music), due to needing to have the best possible music to keep me in a positive state as we searched for, and closed on, our first home together. And as it happens, as we were moving into our new home, Jon released a new track. The timing was insane. His music means more to me than I ever thought music could.
