What Is Your Favorite Jon Bellion Song?
-
@Stang8 my husband was one of my brothers best friends and he told me for a couple years that "He is too good for you, you can have any friend but him" my brother definitely thought i was the messed up one out of us two
years later he ended up being cupid for us and in our wedding!
@leigharose That's actually crazy, glad it turned out good in the end!! The process is half the battle though, I'm sure the song is pretty relatable lol

JB Enjoyer since 2017
Cause I had a fire, passion and desire
Now all I require are circuits and wires
Inside was an ocean of soul and emotion
Then you cut me open... -
Hand of God for sure. It's my favorite song of all time in fact. Nothing has even come close so far!

Stupid Deep. Never have I had a song read my mail like when I first heard this song while living in Sydney. It continues to anchor me, reminding me of my humanity.
-
You can only pick ONE. What is it and why?
Hand of God… are you kidding me?!
The fact this song comes at the end of human condition, it’s the culmination of the epitome of storytelling. It’s a simple but profound truth that through it all and in spite of it all “don’t lose faith” because my whole life is in the hand of God.
Fingerprint of YHWH is on that song!

Like my fellow commenters, picking only one song is a crime. Ever since I started listening to Jon, I've held a special connection with Fashion. The vocals, instrumental, and lyrics are definitive to my relationship with his music.
Going through the motions of life and developing a distaste for the superficial motivations of our society, Jon's music has always been a voice of solidarity for me.
"Still, I gotta go bigger. Fuckin' go figure."

Guillotine is such an underrated piece of art.
It truly feels like a prisoner walking towards his execution and his last thoughts are of a lover that set his soul ablaze.I remember when Jon played in St. Louis back in 2017 and the entire venue all got into saying “YEE” during the song
-
For me it propably has to be "Guillotine". The lyrics are so wholesome, and I have always liked the way Jon's voice sounds like when he is singing more tenderly. I don't know enough about music to praise all the other things he did with the track but it is full of all kinds of neat things that my ears like

You can only pick ONE. What is it and why?
@BeautifulMind Hand of God. The first track i ever heard from JB. I honestly watched the BTS making of before I even heard the track and it made the first listen hit so much more.
-
Human, 100%. I remember the song completely speaking to me as a very hypocritical teenager that perfectly expressed my situation. I’ve always knowned myself to be that way and want to change, but I never expected to find a song dedicated to it.
-
Such a hard decision, but I would say “The Wonder Years” for sure. No matter when in time you listen to it it’s still relevant and relatable to what’s going on in the world and personally my life. The chorus is so simple, yet so beautiful. I remember watching the making of this song and I’ll always hear that bottle of pills that he used as a maraca kind of shake sound in the chorus, so brilliant!
-
Gotta be luxury. The music video and the making of video is incredible.

You can only pick ONE. What is it and why?
@BeautifulMind i really cant pick one, I CANT. My heart is divided for Munny Right, Adult Swim and Cautionary Tales.
Enzo
beautiful mind, you already know
still trying to find out what happened to Looking For A Place To Land and Michigan Sky (also trying to convince Jon to leak Break These Walls) -
Stupid Deep was the first song to make me cry so it’s my favorite because it was able to awake an emotion that at the time was hard for me to express
