What do you think is the best way to get music into the open without succumbing to these BS Tiktok and insta ads? I did a few at first for my last 2 records, but it just all feels so disgusting and desperate. I love what you are doing here, but unfortunately I don't have that kind of following since I'm still very new on the scene, so I feel kinda lost when it comes to advertising.

How easy or not do you find it to incorporate God into your music in such a secular world? It’s my favorite part of your genius.

Are you going to use the same artist, David Ardinaryas Lojaya, for your next album cover? Love his art style and it would be cool to have that continuity between the studio albums.

wrote 28 days ago last edited by@jake.meredith_ you might have to do some of the BS in order to get away from it. Hard truth. Do it in your own way. I stepped away from it all understanding and accepting the potential access and popularity I might lose. But I did do it at the start of it all. You’re right I have a large base now so I can do that but I grinded and did the dance for a few years before being able to decide to drop it all and build stuff like this! Hope you’re doing amazing through it all!

wrote 28 days ago last edited by@driftking you would be shocked how much I don’t listen to other music haha I have comfort albums I have loved my whole life that I always rinse and repeat (band of horses cease to begin for example) but when I listen to new new new music Friday stuff I’m more like looking at it under a microscope. Rarely am I affected like I was when I was much younger hearing new artists.

how did your break between your last release up until this new album you’re working on affect your creation process, if it did in your opinion ??
wrote 27 days ago last edited by@hotyvhs it’s been a long minute since I thought about what I would say if I released music. 6 years turns out stores up a ton of stuff I want to say musically, my thoughts about everything have changed in so many extreme ways.even my thoughts on making records.

I don’t know which end is up. But they for sure informed this entire album. Along with my marriage. The music will get to all of that specifically this time around. -

Would you ever consider coming to Hawaii? If not, I hope you have west coast shows so it won't cost an arm and a leg to finally see you live after wanting to as an 11 year old (11 years ago).

Would you ever release an album thats purely just music that's never been released/sold? Examples would be tangled webs, a remastering of cove city performance, etc?
