I know you said you were in the mixing/mastering phase of the album production, but how long did actual production take on the album from the moment you started writing it last year(? I assume last year)

You really upped the visuals and story concept with GSP, is there going to be something along those lines for this project or is it more of a "back to basics, let the music speak for itself" kind of approach this time around?

What do you think is the best way to get music into the open without succumbing to these BS Tiktok and insta ads? I did a few at first for my last 2 records, but it just all feels so disgusting and desperate. I love what you are doing here, but unfortunately I don't have that kind of following since I'm still very new on the scene, so I feel kinda lost when it comes to advertising.
@jake.meredith_ I agree with Jon - we can't really avoid "doing the dance" at this point because so many folks are trained on algos, and the industry really relies on them (a little too heavily IMO). It won't feel like BS if the marketing is an extension of the art and music you're making. Make some kind of cool art or take some unique we've never seen before on these platforms and commit to that bit and be consistent, but then really utilize any kind of audience you're building to drive people either online to places like this (Discord and Reddit forums are your best bet for just starting out, livestreams like Twitch if you're keen on performingg) or drive them offline and figure out ways to interact IRL.

@Brybrid7 I like the challenge of making impossibly large institutions and concepts feel designer especially this time around. EX: God, Family, Country, Being a Dad, Being married. Community, as a father I realize these things are crucial for my sons. But in all honesty it feels natural because I value those things. So I wanna fight sonically for them. But it’s also easy because it’s who. I am? I try not to force it while also prioritizing it hahahahhss
I just happen to be face to face with a lot of these subjects as a dad these days.

I'm curious as to how much support you were anticipating when this was released? I know you mentioned that this amount of growth was far and beyond what you were expecting, so I'm curious where that idea came from? Just online engagement to Reddit and instagram posts? Thanks for this platform, feels like a breath of fresh air

Love it. I’ll take the long shot to see if you’ll see this reply. I flew down all the way from Oregon to record at CCSS because of you. I’m not a big time artist, just love creating and wanted that experience. Loved Long Island. Loved meeting the team over there. I left a letter behind for Arbuckle to hand to you. Hey Jon so glad you’re back can’t wait for the new record!!!! I feel like you’ve been really pushing mainstream music forward recently with your work with Justin and Kid Laroi and so many more. I feel like mainstream music has been pretty stale recently what do you think? What genres have you been soaking in for the new record and where do you think the industry as a whole is headed?
