Jon, glad to have you back. After seeing the collaboration with Switchfoot it got my hopes up for some worship music. You’ve been somewhat vocal of your relationship with Christ - why not make explicitly Christian music? You have amazing talent, a blessed family, and huge platform; I challenge you to pray about it and see where God leads. Yah is in control, after all. Be blessed brother

For starters you can reach a lot more people the way he's doing it now. Jesus came to heal the sick not to be around the well. Jon's exemplifying that in his music.

@JingerJesus11 For starters, I didn’t say to stop making secular music. I simply suggested intentionally making some worship music.
It’s okay to vocal about your faith and give praise to God For His provision. Jesus will always inherently be polarizing, and Jon obviously is ok with doing his own thing even if it is uncommon or unpopular.
Be blessed

@Capeezee That's fair, I was just saying from my perspective I think it's better for Christians to go out into society and make things instead of making things within a Christian sphere.

@Capeezee I def think we’re gonna have worship songs, and to fill that itch for now we got his work on Tori Kelly and Jon Batiste’s albums, I mean raindance and worship are literally top tier worship songs, worship by batiste is my fav of all time, the song is a whole journey
