(p.s. this is my understanding, not at all speaking for Jon) If so, as Christ followers we believe that there is a spiritual realm that coexists with us. This realm is where angels and demons battle. Angels operate on behalf of us and God’s authority. Demons essentially work for the devil and their mission is to help him in anyway steal kill and destroy our lives. So, the idea of spiritual warfare is fighting battles in the spirit. Not battles the eye can see. Battles that we can ONLY lean on God for.
