issues with setting a profile photo

is anyone else not able to set their pfp on here? I've tried like 5 separate times with different photos, made sure they're all way under 256 kb, but I still can't seem to change it. I get past the first part where I pick a photo but when I try to finalize setting it on the cropping/adjustment screen it says the file is too big even though it hadn't been a second ago. was anyone else having this problem but figured it out? if so, how?

@gippit_ I wish I had a good answer cause I had a similar issue, but I ended using a different picture than what I originally wanted

I was having trouble too, but I had luck by opening the pic in a browser and then getting really zoomed out and taking a screenshot of that. Hope that helps!
