My sister and I are 23 and 25, fund the music all ourselves. We got to write with Jesse Blum from Twenty One Pilots, Marc Campbell of Misterwives and J Glaze and this is the result
Jon has always been a huge inspiration and we would dieeeee if he listened to what we create. Hope this can get to him

Holy crap, you’re guys music is amazing. Parallel in particular was very artful and well produced! Truly beautiful. What were some of your other inspirations in making this EP?

Although I guess if I knew tomorrow
I guess I wouldn't need faith
I guess if I never fell, I guess I wouldn't need grace
I guess if I knew His plans, I guess He wouldn't be God, God, God -

@Isaac thank you so much
I produced it and played all instruments besides drums and most the guitars in stupid (I recorded the end solo). It was mixed by two friends of ours! Biggest inspirations are Jon, Dominic Fike, Peter McPoland, and Claire Rosinkranz currently. But we’ve been tapping into a more indie-folk/rock sound as of late which was a huge inspiration for RWYA. So glad you like it, we were actually had a grant deadline so we had to put it out quick, I wanna expand it into an album and dive more into the production/ mix on those songs too.

@chelseaofEqual all banger artists! The nastiness of those drums especially was fucking awesome.
I’m still a small producer, but I’d love to work! This is my Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/5wS7ick5uwJQMAFwhJptzo?si=PXr6bBZYRHClilGUnlhhlw
Not really reflective of what I’m producing nowadays (the sound you guys have is actually more of what I’ve been producing!) but just to give you an idea of what I’m like sonically! Lmk

@Isaac oh we are OBSESSED with them. And that’s our drummer Ian, honestly I’ll send him a voice note tapping out rhythms and he turns the vision into a reality. Love the guy so much.
I’ll follow!!! What’s your Instagram too? We can get in touch on there

man good production, aye keep God in the forefront and I have no doubt He will bring yall together, hes doing it all over music rn its beautiful to see, only more collabs to be had!
@Zeonder exactly, I’ve found lately I’m asking myself how I can find fulfillment in music again. I’ve found working full time teaching guitar and making room for music is hard (though im so grateful for my job- it’s just hard to not see music as ONLY work). Been telling myself I need to stop putting pressure on making something commercially successful. I have to remember to connect to my faith and get in tune with the true reason why we love music- because it makes us feel something and is one of the purest forms of catharsis out there
