Levántate

I don't know if he necessarily is using it at a producer tag. If he is I'm all about it for sure. But a while back I was going through some stock sound effects in Logic Pro and found the Levantate sample. I wonder if he just chose to use it twice for some reason. I am super down for it to be a producer tag for him as well though don't get me wrong.

@User12261990 Hey Jon! I'm curious about how you came up with Levántate as a rare producer tag. It doesn't appear in all songs, so how do you choose where to put it? Why Walls? Why Worship?
It will be interesting to see where we hear it next.@jbmcpayne I think it’s just another sample adding to the song, calling for the energy to continue getting “lifted up”

I guess I wouldn't need faith
I guess if I never fell, I guess I wouldn't need grace

Bumping this post for a response lol @User12261990
Told myself I'm keeping my faith, if it costs me my reputation, then take it; I'll give it all away

@tiachante_ You can hear the word 'Levántate' being said repeatedly at the end of Walls by Jonas Brothers. You can hear it after the intro of Worship by Jon Batiste as well. It's probably supposed to be Jon's producer tag, kinda like Pharrell's iconic four-count start.
Just interested to know how it came to be.Toda las jevas con cadera, que esto va pa' bajo

@BBart11 Interesting that you found the sample. I thought it was Jon's vocal made to sound like that. I'd personally love to hear it again. It sounded great in the songs where it came during sort of a calm before the storm, especially in Walls.

It will be interesting to see where we hear it next.@jbmcpayne I don’t think Levàntate is a producer tag. Producer tags tell you who produced the song. I think Levàntate was something specifically for the Jonas Brothers album, meaning look at these brothers who started making music as teens, and now their adults and now their sound is elevating and evolving.
The closes thing Jon has to a ‘producer tag’ is when he shouts out Beautiful Mind, but even then, that’s just him shouting out his label.Remember dreams seemed far away. Was pinching pennies like Lane and Hardaway. Now my beats make feasts for holidays in Greece. And I don't mean John Travolta.

Pharrell's 4-count start is a prime example of not having to shout out the name of the producer. Plus, Levántate was used in a Jon Batiste song as well. Do it often enough and it may very well become Jon's producer tag.
