I got this with my sister, she is my best friend in the whole world. We are 2 years apart but have been “partners in crime “ ever since our mom started having our birthdays celebrated on the same day when we were young.
I am sad writing this bc she’s not talking to me at the moment but I do hope that our love for Jon’s music will bring us back together and remind us of “the good ole days” Jon you were an anchor in our high school experience and ever since. Kid again was really special for us, thank you.

I'm sure it'll work out in the end :)). Beautiful tattoo btw

@Stang8 thank you so much! It’s just hard that as adults we have such different perspectives on life, she’s strayed so much from the faith we grew up on. It’s such a bittersweet thing to not recognize the person I once knew so intimately and also want to be proud of the person she’s becoming even if I don’t understand or agree. I’m in a pickle as a big sister!

️@Micah.Jax Haha I definitely understand. Watching somebody fall away is definitely difficult. For me it is easier, as she is much happier now than she was under my parents roof, even if I don't agree with everything she is doing. As Jon would say, "She is the same." No matter what, she's your sister, and its our job to love siblings no matter the decision.
Come from a place of love and understanding, even if it isn't agreement, and everything will work out. Even if that means that she is going to do her own thing... LOL I still struggle with understanding why my little baby sister would be doing all this, but I know that God has a plan for her so it'll be okay. Everybody's path looks different.
