What are, in your opinions, the best and worst songs on the album? Which ones stuck with you, and which ones didn’t?

Best: Conversations with My Wife, JT, Stupid Deep, Blu
Worst (if I absolutely have to pick one): Couples Rereat
Only reason I say Worst is because it didn’t stick with me like the other ones. There are no bad songs on that record!

Okay, so anymore I really can’t answer this question unbiased, I think all the songs are bangers. But, when I first got into Jon there would only be a select few songs from GSP I’d listen to:
- JT
- Stupid Deep
- The Internet
- Blu
Those were definitely the most accessible songs for me. I finally, a few years later, gave Mah’s Joint a chance, and that was a gateway into the other songs that I hadn’t previously wanted to listen to. Now I think all the songs are bangers!

wrote 19 days ago last edited by@avanallen the songs on the gsp album that stuck with me are stupid deep, blu, couples retreat. The ones that least caught my attention was mah’s joint, cautionary tales, conversations with my wife (I’m single so that song I can’t relate to it).

Stupid Deep, Blu, Conversations with My Wife, and JT are my absolute favorites and I think one encounters Christ in those tracks more than the others (though all are good)

I think one thing, stylistically, that might turn people off of couples retreat is the side chaining, swing action that Jon incorporated in it. For me, that was a big thing for the longest time, when the “come say sorry with my body” hits, I was like “wtffff is going on!” I love it now, but it is very different then most songs out sonically

wrote 18 days ago last edited by@avanallen the internet imo is the worst song on gsp. It is a fun song live though, but if I had to pick that song is my least favorite.. couples retreat as well lol. And then my favorites would be stupid deep, mahs joint, conversations with my wife, and blu.
