@OverwhelmMe “its tough being a "fan" of music that no one else IRL appreciates, let alone has heard about, and despite my best attempts at converting friends, not everyone "gets it." Oh my gosh you verbalised exactly how I’ve felt about Jon. I got one of my best friends into his music industry high school so I can talk to him about it but no one else really. If it were another silly artiste I wouldn’t care but Jon’s music has saved me when I was in some of the most difficult periods of my life and wherever people ask for my music taste he’s one of the top 3 I start with. I’m glad you could discuss it in therapy. I might too.
@tiachante_ this is very understandable and important to a person mental health, jon bellion is clearly in my top 3, clearly at number 1
"this is a official apology from beautiful mind, we're sorry, if we're going ohveryorhed..."

@tiachante_ I'm glad you can relate- I think it helps all of us feel less lonely in this. And you said it perfectly, too, "if it were another silly artst I wouldn't care." Because same... I tend to kind of "guard" things I truly care about- be it movies or songs, or whole artists. Like, you know when you show a movie to someone and they either talk through it or get distracted, and you're like, UMMM MY SOUL IS IN THIS MOVIE... so you learn to only share it with people you think will care.. that's how Jon's musc is to me. I'll still mention him in my list of favorite artists when others ask, but I struggle knowing most won't really "care." but here, its different. And I love that.
Definitely discuss in therapy! It helped me verbalize things I couldn't express before and it was nice identifying a healthy/positive thing in my routine that ISNT doomscrolling, etc.Screw your pops let’s get some IHOP
