Man it’s always a struggle. Not willing to obsess over getting exposure but knowing what type of music I’m sitting on. I feel blessed that I can deliver this new batch at the highest creative level because I’ve been fortunate to build wealth through creating for other talented artists.
I value anonymity and peaceful existence but want to deliver highest level of shit. I thank the Lord I nabbed a few hits to fund and deliver this album not sacrificing anny creative vision and not particularly worry about the outcome, especially since I own almost all of my masters now. Don’t know if I ever would have been able to make this album without making those hits for others. Cuz I’m REALLY doing this out of pocket. Hahhaaha
