Having categories is a great idea. However, it seems that most of these categories have become meaningless as people simply post whatever they want regardless of the category they are posting in. Would be great to have these be moderated to keep posts on-topic. Perhaps there could also be a required field when creating a thread to select the category, that way posters are more intentional with where they place their post.
Love the community feel tho!

@elio1 I love the feel as well, but to me the forum has been really confusing.
Reading through a thread, and understanding the flow and sequence of the conversation is tricky. I'm sure I can't be the only one?

@elio1 I mostly see people in the right category but yeah, I think making new categories wouldn’t fix it though just possibly add to it, but people mostly posting chit chat in breaking bread and merch stuff in merch, such with all the others too. I mean it’s working REALLY well for a pretty unmoderated forum imo, def agree there could be some rework though, some new categories or whatnot, and I think we’ll see it soon enough

@Chack24 tbh yes and no, like it was confusing to learn at first but once you know you know and that’s just how the old interwebs were.

@Zeonder understandable. The newest to oldest is new to me, but I get it.
I think what's still confusing me is the normal comments and then the drop-down with multiple replies?
@Chack24 yeah the reply system is definitely the main thing that took me a second, I’ve kinda given up following other people’s convos, just easier to see my own @s and to see Jon’s I just sort by most upvoted on a post and bam there’s his comment of course loool
