What artists/albums do you feel have had the most profound impact on you from artists you're not directly affiliated with?

a recent one for me is "you dont mess around with jim" from jim croce, my parents told me they played him when I was young but I ended up rediscovering him and listening the album to death. such a talent, gone too young

Change of Scenery II & A letter to my younger self - QuinnXCII. Found out about Quinn after hearing his song “Life must go on” that Jon featured on, they’re now my top 2 favorite artists!

Deeper Well by Kacey Musgraves - she stays true to her roots while acknowledging that there is more to see and learn when you move away from what you’ve always known. Reminded me to always keep looking for more.
