Jon Bellion Inspired me to make music

Has anyone else here been inspired by jon to make music? i started listening to jon bellion when i was around 12 or 13 (im 18 now). i came across his BTS videos and they changed my life. i’ve always played music but never thought i could combine all the instruments i know to make a full song. the MPC drum pad, the raw sounds from his voice, combining VSTs to create the most unique sounding sound ive ever heard. it was just all so amazing to me. and i recommend those videos to everyone. on top of that everything he did felt intentional yet free styled.

anyway, i just wanted to thank you jon bellion for inspiring me to plunge into something i genuinely love doing. it has helped me express many things about myself.

Yes yes yes, about 10 years ago for me, Jon and Ed Sheeran had me sitting in my schools computer lab for so long after school, would stay bc we had a production lab and the teacher would give me the keys and I’d sit there for hours, was a bunch of Macs with garage band in one room lol

for me it was discovering your music via Zedd's "Beautiful Now" which led me to The Human Condition which had a profound impact on motivating me to create. Always loved the drum pockets and your sampling techniques - J Dilla grooves with a Pixar theme. GSP took that and exemplified it with the Volta vibes. Can't wait for the new record to inspire us all over again!
