I think it was around 2014 and I was going into high school and I heard the song carry your throne which till this day is still one of my favorite songs. So it was complete accident and I slowly become more of fan to Stan the more I listened. But the catch was I had a close friend at the time who also listened to Jon just as much as I did but we never mentioned this. Cut two a couple years later we started dating and Jon music as become a connection for us... 6 years later... still together and our favorite song is conversations with my wife.

I used to hang out with this guy named Jon and he showed me his SoundCloud liked songs and showed me Woodstock and I was hooked forever.

I was in Junior Secondary (this means middle schoold for the Americans lol) at the time, and I remember hearing All Time Low followed by Morning In America at the mall. I’d heard All Time Low before on the car radio, but that was the first time I actually listened to it, and yeah, I was sold immediately.
I loved the arrangement, the repetition of the chorus, and how easy it was to learn without compromising on excellence and complexity in lyrics or sound (🤯)
My sisters and I gatekept him like maddddd, until Hand Of God started trending with some seniors at school and then the car was out of the bag
Since then, there’s nothing JB has released that I haven’t devoured with immediate effect

@KjellyBean that's awesome, once I found THC I hit the ground running with every album, unreleased mixtapes, making ofs, he definitely made me look at music in a completely different way

Freshman year of HS (6 years ago at this point) girl I was talking to at the time introduced me to his music, first of his songs I really LISTENED to were Kingdom Come, Ungrateful Eyes, and To My Future Wife. THC and GSP really got me through some stuff, still so much love for his music.

I was on a 3 day school trip which was pretty lonely for me because my only friend then bailed out last minute. In the bus, there was this junior who took control of the music system and kept playing All Time Low like a 100 times and I obviously started liking the song. I went back home and found his other songs, went on a deep dive and was in love

I was using 8tracks back in 2014 and heard munny right and immediately knew I wanted more. Been my favorite artist since. Shout out to that streaming service before it got ads

I found Jon (unknowingly) through listening to Logic’s “Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever” tape back when I was doing graphics for COD trickshot teams in 2015. I knowingly found him after “The Human Condition” ended up on a tirade of downloads I made to my iPod before I was grounded my senior year of highschool (notably, alongside “Blonde” by Frank Ocean). That album played front to back for weeks on my mp3, and the burned CD copy I made of the album (I ended up buying the CD & merch at shows. I have paid my dues). Something messed up during the download to my iPod that cause NYS pt II to only play the first three-four seconds before it cut to the next track. I’ll never forget how it felt to hear that song in it’s entirity banging in my car.
