How did Jon's music effect you?

When i was younger, music meant absolutely nothing to me. It wasn't until 2016 that I heard Jon and seeing his Making Of videos changed my entire perspective of music to the point where I'm a wannabe producer writing stuff and joining a band in a week or so. With that being said, has anyone had similar experiences or realizations through Jon's stuff? The fact that music can change people in such a way has always been so amazing to me.

100% I found his making of videos at a low point in highschool and seeing his SPARK and EXCITEMENT for his craft changed how I thought about my passions. The man is having so much fun just doing what he loves. I aspire to be that in every way. Someday I'll even put out my own album since I'm a musician and producer at heart too.
Even in recent years. I had a moment where I finally stood up and said I had had enough of my old life and wanted that passion and drive back. Cautionary Tales & Wild Dreams by burna became my anthems. I start my mornings with music and it changes the whole outlook of my days. So yep, I'd say music truly does have a great impact on people. -

Seeing his passion for the art absolutely made me this way, and it lit a fire that has never and definitely will never die

Idk what they put in the water in high school lmao- but like many, found (more like was introduced to) Jon’s music in my freshman year. Was figuring out a lot about myself and the world in general, and his music just provided an escape during some real lonely and rough times. When I came out of that season of life it made me wanna pursue music or just creating art in general. I have a vision just figuring out how to make it tangible rn.
Also same as @KalTheMan the making of videos were so fascinating to me, the way his mind works when creating, being able to translate this intangible concept in your head into something tangible that others can appreciate. Also as someone whos only ever learned to perform music by reading sheet music, i still think its the fkn coolest thing that Jon doesnt know how to read sheet music at all or has no formal training but can create music the way he does. It’s a wonder-

@miso He's just insanely inspiring. A quote that's always stuck with me is from the making of Munny Right when he talks about the kid that sees him making music for the craft. He really does make music for the people who LISTEN to music. Every time I binge his discography I hear something new in the layers of each track
