What Is Your Favorite Jon Bellion Song?

Blu has been my number 1 since I heard it. Hoping the new album will have a song to top that

You can only pick ONE. What is it and why?
@BeautifulMind jungle or run wild!

@viccomusic honestly fantastic points. The Definition really shaped how I hear melodies and incorporate them into my songs to this day. Every single song is a treat, a journey, an inspiration, and I could never truly pick one as my favorite. Jon is really a special creative to say the least.
@Derrian-Berry for real! it’s a part of my musical palette
I believe that is a case for a lot of artists too? Jon Bellion is like the artist’s artist in that way. Even though that’s a cliche thing to say it truly is the case. I love how it’s full circle too – Kanye West inspired Jon Bellion, a long with Dilla of course, and now we see Donda with production credits from Jon Bellion’s folks ojivolta (mark williams and raul cubina). That’s so crazy to me. The world, I mean God – works in mysterious ways.

This album is the first album that I’ve included an acoustic version of a song as well as the produced out
@User12261990 some of the acoustic versions are also a fav. Simple & sweet!

@BeautifulMind Hand of God - it’s a masterpiece truly but it also came out at the time of my life where i NEEDED a song, a reminder, like that

SImple and sweet, but also human, but the acoustic version

@BeautifulMind
Gotta be Mah’s Joint or Stupid Deep.
Mah’s joint reminds me of my exe’s grandma, who had dementia and was taken care of by her daughter. And the deep instrumental emotion conveyed in the song makes you feel alive and like you want to cry at the same time.
Stupid Deep is just a letter to my younger self. It captures everything I’d want him to know at that age. And I LOVE the behind-the-scenes of that song too, Jon’s sister is so talented. -
@BeautifulMind Has to be guillotine but there are so many good ones to choose from!!

@BeautifulMind Stupid deep is a close second but Luxury has to be my favorite JB song till this day. I'll never forget the first time I heard the trumpets on this beautiful song....... especially when it blended beautifully together with Audra Mae's heavenly voice towards the end.......almost brought me to tears. Became an instant classic.

Mahs Joint. I love its movements, "mother to her mom," "physically" and "spiritually". When my mom passed, Mahs Joint started hitting me in such a different way. It was a song I used to introduce my middle son to the deeper meanings of music. How musicality/layering/fine detail resonates on a spiritual level, and how the arrangement tells a story. The song brings legacy for us and reminds us that Nana is here, both physically in my sister and spiritually. That song slows my whole soul down and sometimes I can't listen to it. Just like Beyond The Veil by Daryl Coley, it tears me to pieces.

Cannot pick one, but one that will always be special is To my future wife. I walked down the aisle to it, the curtains opened as the song started- I get goosebumps thinking about it.
My husband got me into Jon’s music; one of our first dates was seeing him play in Raleigh, and so using this song for our special day was perfect! -
Definitely CWMW. I remember being slightly disappointed when it was the first single of GSP but it never stopped growing on me and now it's my all time favorite. However, Meant To Live by Switchfoot was a song that me and my Dad used to listen to before all of my little league baseball games as a kid. My dad passed away suddenly from Cardiac Arrest in 2020. I remember when Jon dropped his version of the song I sat in my room with my headphones on crying for over an hour in the middle of the night. I kept asking my Dad in heaven to listen with me. It was the first time in my life that music from mine and my Dad's worlds had combined. To this day I truly believe it's the most beautiful song I've ever heard, it felt like Jon made that song for me without even knowing it. Love from Oklahoma
