Don’t want to answer for him but labels these days (and all days in the past lol) are so financially and creatively scummy, especially to smaller/medium artists. Watching a Mike Posner interview really opened my eyes to some of the details.

I just didn’t like the splits. I just said I’ll make music for others until I like how my contract looks. And they caved after I gave enough hits away to other artists hahahaa so we back! Hahaha
