I'm terrified and excited at the same time, was wondering if anyone can lend me advice for parenting in the future?

You can’t always take advice from everyone. Soon as you mention kids people just start telling you how to do stuff and 90% of the time it’s unsolicited…follow your gut, and if you feel strongly about raising your kids a certain way, stand on that. Don’t let anyone sway you. Except your spouse or partner. Every child is different, just learn your kids and bond with them, eventually you’ll find a groove that works for you. Hope that was helpful

- I COMPLETELY agree with @Jay120. I'm expecting my 2nd kiddo in Oct - me and many others are on the Rollercoaster with you.
My favorite piece of advise is that we pay so much attention to the firsts (first steps, first word, etc) that you miss the lasts. When it's 4am and you just want the minnows to go the french to sleep....it may be the last time you rock them in your arms. Change your mindset and have fun with it.

Love your partner - don’t neglect that relationship, because it’s going to get real hard and you need each other. Balance taking care of yourself but also putting your partner and your kids first - your greatest calling in life is loving them and ensuring that they flourish. And when things get so hard you don’t think you can do it, remember “this too shall pass.”
It’s not all hard - it’s also going to be beautiful and amazing and fun! Enjoy and say thanks for all the good things.
And if I may be so bold - pray! Give the hardest, scariest things to God. You’re not alone.
