A 14 year old girl is just listening to the radio waiting for another hit to come through the speakers. Everything the radio was giving was mild and not that captivating, just recently played songs that are good but not touching the soul. This leads her to fall asleep and in mist the dream she hears something like a Hank shouting and she jumps ups, then continues to listen to this beautiful lyrics and she never understands why it’s sounds so good after the song the radio presenter didn’t say who the artist was or the title of the track but she loved it. I loved it later finding out that it was All time low and finding out more beautiful songs from this amazing artist. It’s truly amazing and a gift from God. Thank you JB. I can’t wait for more of your genius.

@jennifernide that's a great way to set scene
. I remember hearing bits and pieces of his music when I was like 15 through other artists and in YouTube videos. Idk when exactly I really dove in but the first song of his I have saved on Spotify is Carry Your Throne but I remember listening to his older music (The Separation and Translation Through Speakers) on YouTube for a while before actually adding any of his music on Spotify

my story is very similar, heard All Time Low on the radio and it really stood out to me. When I went home I google "low low low low low low low low" because I didn't know the title and then binged through every song in THC and The Definition.
I FEEL IT

About 6 1/2 years ago at this point, sophomore year of college, I was riding in an acquaintance's car for club event and All Time Low and Jim Morrison came on his car's shuffle. Something clicked and the back of my mind told me to dig deeper into this Jon Bellion guy I'd never heard of. Haven't looked back since, and it's pretty wild looking back at the small, seemingly meaningless moments that can end up influencing your life in the biggest ways. I don't talk to that guy anymore, but I wonder if I ever would've discovered Jon if I didn't ride in that car that day and how different my life and love of music would be.

Around the time “All Time Low” was popular on the radio (2016?) I was participating in a 48 hour hackathon. I was really into that song, but hadn’t heard any of the rest of Jon’s music. It was like 1am and I needed something with energy to keep me going. So I popped in my headphones and started listening to everything Jon Bellion I could find. He got me through like 8 more hours of coding through the night and into the morning. I fell madly in love that night, and it’s not diminished one bit since then.

I used to watch Jon Bellion “making of” videos in my studio and I remember saying “one day I’ma be in the studio with Jon Bellion” a few years later Jon was sitting in my home studio with me …..crazy
