Help me pick a song to use to teach poetry!

I'm a student teacher and I want to break down one of Jon's songs as a way of teaching literary devices during my practicum. Which song would you choose that has the most poetic lyrics, is clean, and that my grade 6/7s (12-13 year olds) will vibe with?

hmmm... I'd say Stupid Deep, Mah's joint, Cautionary Tales, Weight of the World, The Internet and Luxury. They all have deeper meanings that are worth deep diving
Enzo
beautiful mind, you already know
still trying to find out what happened to Looking For A Place To Land and Michigan Sky (also trying to convince Jon to leak Break These Walls) -
All the songs Enzo said! And id recommend Guillotine. There are so many amazing songs to choose from, but I think the deeper meaning and symbolism of Guillotine matched with the intra rhymes in the lines of that song make it worth studying!

Oooohh great picks. I didn't even think of cautionary tales but it'll fit in well with my other unit on ancient greece! But also gotta love the guillotine pick bc I can show the making of clip of Jon figuring out the lyrics... so many to choose from haha but thanks for the suggestions!
